Our newest capacity building offering, Life Coaching for Leaders (LCL) is designed to support leaders using the transformative tool of life coaching. Rather than technical know-how and profession al competencies, the focus instead is on development of the leader’s own personal and interpersonal effectiveness. Leaders who invest in their own personal development are not only more personally competent and respected by colleagues but tend to be more effective in leading the charge to create sustainable cultures of trust and accountability. We know that context can be a driver in determining leadership type and leadership styles vary. But the research consensus is that the most effective leaders are those who possess a high degree of social-emotional intelligence. Leadership is fundamentally about the ability to influence—to communicate, inspire, energize, direct, and mange relationships to get things done—and that ability will extend as far as your own personal competence.
